Why did my custard feel powdery while eating? I followed this exactly. Can I fix it? It’s in the refrigerator for guests tomorrow
How much milk do I boil? What do you mean “boil the rest of the milk”? I put 1 cup of milk with the custard powder, was I meant to only put half and use the other half into the sauce pan?
Thanks.
She has already mentioned 1/2 liters of milk. I cup=250 ml. Half litre is equivalent to 500ml.
This was absolutely delicious! The instructions on the recipe were very easy to follow and my guests loved it! Thank you!

thank you for your kind comments. :)
I made it when I was craving something sweet. The recipe was more or less easy to follow, except the wording threw me off. The solution of the milk and custard powder was called a ‘paste’ in the recipe. A paste is supposed to be thick or dense, but mine was watery. I wanted to add more powder, but I didn’t have anymore left. So I just crossed my fingers and hope it would turn out well, and it did!
